It all started in international trade, exporting a range of products from wallpaper to toys, including brands such as Teletubbies™, Wallace & Gromit™ and Bob the Builder™.

After completing an MBA at Lancaster University, Sam was hired by Mazda Motor Europe GmbH where she  managed 5 European subsidiaries, followed by a move to marketing, looking after the brand icons, Mazda MX-5 and RX-8. and then developing a new European launch process, and European product training.

All in all, the whole Mazda experience, combined with export brought together all aspects of business: production, marketing, sales, finance, customer services, technical, sales planning and PR.

Now Sam uses this experience to help other businesses. She believes in a direct practical approach and uses her background and experience to help and support you and your business.

That’s enough about Sam, now it’s over to you, contact her today to discover how your business can benefit.

So Business Development & International Trade? Aren’t they 2 separate things?

I started my career in international trade, so for me, international trade is a natural way to develop and grow your business. Think of all the different world markets out there compared with only the UK.
International trade can be tricky and it is definitely scary when it is unfamiliar, but that is what I am there for.
As well as my years of practical experience, I am a graduate member of the Institute of Export and International Trade, so I can help you navigate those international waters, more easily than on your own.

What about the coaching part?

I spent a long time working in the automotive industry in Germany, which taught me a lot about business in general. There I was introduced to coaching philosophy; wow, what a difference that made. Imagine talking to someone who listens, guides you with their own expert knowledge but all the decisions are yours and all the steps are done your way.
As a teenager both my parents had their own businesses, and I have seen how tough  it is when there is a lack of support.  My parents talk now about what they would do differently if they could go back, because they didn’t know then what they know now.  I want to be the coach that I wish my parents had had.
